The Senior Procurement and Contract Analyst is responsible for the procurement of goods and services while adhering to the organizations purchasing policies and procedures. This role will support in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, and Purchasing Operations for our growing organization. Senior Procurement and Contract Analyst

The Senior Procurement and Contract Analyst is responsible for the procurement of goods and services while adhering to the organizations purchasing policies and procedures. This role will support in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, and Purchasing Operations for our growing organization. The ideal candidate must bring a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and excellence with a proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, purchasing and reducing costs in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing

o Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost- effective procurement of goods and services.
o Analyze market trends and identify potential suppliers.
o Evaluate supplier capabilities and make recommendations.
o Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
o Participant and support the Value Analysis Steering Committee meetings, research and analyze requests and report out to stakeholders.

Contract Management

o Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
o Support in the Draft, review, and negotiation of contracts as necessary.
o Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
o Manage contract renewals and extensions.
o Serve as a lead support for contract management intake, processing, and repository, utilizing Workday and other assigned systems.
o Develop, execute, and manage contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of contracts and system records.
o Evaluate, negotiate as necessary, and execute various contracts covering a range of transactions.
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
o Monitor contract lifecycle events, including close-out, extension, and renewal processes.
o Providing support of our contract management system(s), proactively identifying and resolving process or data issues.
o Provide training on contract management systems as assigned.

o Act as a primary point of contact for contract stakeholders, offering technical support and analytical assistance.

Purchasing Operations

o Oversee the purchase order process.
o Manage supplier relationships.
o Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
o Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing, quantities with product or with services.
o Support the purchases and logistics for care center launch equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals as assigned.
o Analyze contractual and financial system exceptions where invoices and purchasing documents do not match, resolve and report.
o Serve as a liaison between all units of the organization with emphasis on collaboration with accounts payable, supply chain and vendor management, field support offices, care centers, and suppliers.

Inventory Management

o Support and Monitor inventory levels as requested.
o Identify and address potential stockouts.
o Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Compliance

o Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
o Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.
o Support the development and implementation of purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

o 10+ years of experience in purchasing and contract management, ideally in a healthcare environment
o Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
o Experience with Workday or other ERP systems.
o Experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing or other Contract Management systems.

Physical Demands:

Some travel could be required.

Compensation:  $74K – $100K annual salary  & bonus eligible
